Driver Profiling

Utilising high-definition video and still images, our profiling system guides drivers through a four-stage risk assessment, focusing on the core driving competencies that an Approved Driving Instructor (ADI) would evaluate in a traditional in-vehicle assessment:

  • Attitude: Evaluating the driver’s approach to safety and responsible driving behaviour.
  • Knowledge: Assessing understanding of traffic laws, road signs, and safe driving practices.
  • Concentration and Observation: Measuring the ability to maintain focus and effectively monitor the driving environment.
  • Hazard Perception: Gauging the driver’s skill in identifying and responding to potential hazards.

Each section comprises 12 questions, with immediate feedback provided after each response. Drivers receive not only confirmation of their answer’s correctness but also the correct answer and a detailed explanation. This ensures the assessment functions as a valuable training tool, enhancing driver knowledge and awareness in real-time.

Upon completion, drivers receive an immediate overall risk rating (High, Medium, or Low), along with individual risk ratings for each of the four core areas. This detailed breakdown allows drivers and their fleet managers to pinpoint specific strengths and areas needing improvement.

The system’s accessibility across PCs, laptops, tablets, and mobile phones ensures that all drivers, regardless of their computer access, can be effectively risk-assessed.
