Minibus Driver Awareness
Driving a minibus is considerably different from driving a car. A minibus is not only larger, longer, and wider than a car, it also has passengers that could easily distract the driver from the task of driving safely.
Safedrive offers bespoke advanced/defensive minibus driver training nationwide, giving drivers the skills to become safer minibus drivers, reducing the risk of injury to the driver, the passengers and other road users. It can also increase the comfort of passengers and reassure parents / families, knowing that their loved ones are in safe hands.
Being safe behind the wheel is always vital – and for someone who has the extra responsibility of passengers, having the correct set of skills and knowledge can make all the difference.
During Safedrive’s in-vehicle, practical training, drivers will be shown techniques that will help the to achieve a smoother driving style, which will help to reduce fuel use, reduce maintenance costs, and most importantly reduce road crashes; which in turn will reduce serious injury to the driver, the passengers, and to other road users.
Rules on the road are constantly changing, so it is therefore important that every driver is kept up to date with their road knowledge. Through open discussion, practice, examples and advice, our Safedrive’s ADI Assessors will be able to share a wealth of knowledge with you.
Courses can be pre-arranged at any location. Safedrive has a wide selection of qualified ADI Assessors across the UK, so we can send a trainer to the location of your choosing!
